Lo que me pareció interesante de este corto y simple anuncio publicitario fue en lo particular la palabra "sweters", porque normalmente en español se escribe "suéteres". La palabra suéter proviene de la palabra en inglés "sweater". Al hacer un poco de investigación acerca de cómo se escribe esta palabra en Argentina, descubrí que existe un castellano rioplatense, el cual se habla y se escribe en Buenos Aires, y de hecho ellos utilizan la forma "sweters".

Existen varios ejemplos del español rioplatense (localmente llamado castellano rioplatense) que pueden resultar desconocidos para alguien que no es de la región del río de la plata.  Para más información y para poder aprender más sobre este tema les dejo este enlace con mucha información interesante.

La razón por la cual anuncian estas dos prendas en lugar de camisetas y pantalones cortos, es porque en este momento es invierno en Argentina y la gente está interesada en comprar estas dos prendas para mantenerse abrigadas.

What I found interesting from this short and simple advertisement was particularly the word "sweters", because normally in Spanish it's written as "suéteres". The word "suéter" comes from the English word "sweater". After doing some research on how this word is written in Argentina, I discovered that there is a dialect known as Rioplatense Spanish, which is spoken and written in Buenos Aires, and in fact they use the form "sweters". 

There are many examples of Rioplatense Spanish (locally called Castilian rioplatense) that can be unknown to someone that's not from the Rio de la Plata region. For more information and to be able to learn more about this topic I've included the link with a lot of interesting information.

The reason why they advertise these two clothing items rather than t-shirts and shorts, is because right now it's winter in Argentina and people are interested in buying these two clothing items to stay warm.
