Traducción #12: Publicidad en el Parque Nacional de Iguazú de "Macuco Safari" / Translation #12: Advertisement in Iguazu Waterfalls National Park of "Macuco Safari"

Macuco Safari is one of the most popular rides and tourist destination among the five continents for tourist who want to see the Iguazu waterfalls from another really close angle. As you can see, I've translated this ad into Spanish because it is already has an English translation because I found it in the Brazilian side of the waterfalls, therefore the ad is in Portuguese. As you can notice, Portuguese is very similar to Spanish so it was very easy to translate and having the English translation just helped me reassure that the translation was correct. 

Spanish and Portuguese are two of the world's most spoken languages. They fall into the branch of Romance languages called West Iberian or Hispano-Iberian, which has many variants and dialects, to a certain degree, are understood by all speakers within that branch. Examples are Brazilian Portuguese, European Portuguese, the many varieties of Spanish spoken in the Americas, and Andalusian Spanish. I must say that, despite the close relationship between Spanish and Portuguese, there are many differences too, although if you speak one and would like to learn another, it would give you an advantage.

El Macuco Safari es uno de los paseos más conocidos y buscados por turistas de los cinco continentes que quieren ver las cataratas del Iguazú desde otro ángulo más cercano. Como se puede ver, he traducido este anuncio al español porque ya ha sido traducido al inglés debido al hecho de que este anuncio lo encontré en el lado brasileño de las cataratas, por lo tanto el anuncio está en portugués. Como se puede notar, el portugués es muy similar al español, así que fue muy fácil traducir el anuncio y teniendo la traducción en inglés me ayudó solamente para reiterar que la traducción estaba correcta. 

El español y el portugués son dos de los idiomas más hablados en el mundo. Caen en una rama de idiomas romance llamado Oeste Ibérico o Hispano-Ibérico, la cual tiene muchas variantes y dialectos, hasta una cierto grado, son entendidos por todos los hablantes de esta rama. Algunos ejemplos son el portugués brasileño, el portugués europeo, las muchas variedades de español habladas en todo el continente americano y el español andaluz. Debo decir, que a pesar de la cercana relación entre el español y el portugués, hay también muchas diferencias, aunque si se habla uno y se quiere aprender el otro, le daría una ventaja.
